Assigning Site Administrators and Members to my Quick Shopping Cart Account
You can create roles and members for your Quick Shopping Cart. Roles allow you to assign members access to specified areas within the Quick Shopping Cart manager. You can create a role for Site Administrators, which permits them to access the Quick Shopping Cart manager from the Web to manage your store, and assign that role to members whom you want to act as site administrators. You may create member accounts for yourself as well as for your members.

To Create a Role

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. From the Web Sites menu, click Quick Shopping Cart.
  3. Click the Open hyperlink for the Quick Shopping Cart account you want to access.
    The Quick Shopping Cart control panel displays in a new window.
  4. Click the Advanced Builder button.
  5. From the Members menu, click Roles.
  6. In the Role Name field, type the name for the role you want to create, and then click Add.
  7. In the Define Role Choices panel, select the options you want to assign to the role, and then click Submit.
To Create a Member
  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. From the Web Sites menu, click Quick Shopping Cart.
  3. Click the Open hyperlink for the Quick Shopping Cart account you want to access.

  4. Click the Advanced Builder button.
  5. From the Members menu, click Add New Member.
  6. In the E-mail Address field, type the member's email address.
  7. In the Password and Confirm Password fields, type the member's password.
  8. From the Roles box, select the role you want to assign to the member.
  9. In the First Name and Last Namefields, type the member's first and last name.
  10. In the Address Line 1 and Address Line 2 fields, type the member's street address.
  11. In the Phone Number field, type the member's phone number.
  13. In the City, State, and Postal Code fields, type the member's city, state, and postal code.
  14. From the Country list, select the member's county.
  15. Click Create Account.

Be sure to let your members know the email address and password you entered for their account.
